Allan Grynnerup lives in Denmark where he has been an actor since 1981. It wasn’t until 1990 that he seriously began his interest in photography, largely to learn something about himself and his own sexuality..

“The young innocent girl with massive eyes and blue hair struggles against the long arms of her nemeses…probing her, wrapping around her breasts and plunging deeply inside her.” This is a typical scene from one of the most popular erotic movements on the web.

Before Brad Wallis ever held a photo shoot, he plastered an entire wall with black and white postcards of nude images and studied them carefully. "I stared at them every night and each morning," Wallis recalls. Then, he went out and bought a camera, learned how to develop his own film, and within a year landed his first gallery show. Many shows and publications later, this Portland, Oregon resident happily admits to having an addiction.

"I met Weegee in the early '60s in the West Village and we immediately struck up a friendship that lasted for several years. I was new to the business and had just landed my second job in medical photography (which was not my first love!) Weegee was sexually interested in me and I, of course, found him sexually revolting. But I loved his experimental works. So, I conspired to learn his secrets and he conspired to get me into bed. We both failed!"

 Trevor Watson's photos evoke a sense that something deliciously naughty has just happened. It would be quite fortuitous to stumble upon his quixotic scenes as either the accidental tourist or the voyeuristic neighbor. His provocative and surreal images weave sex into gritty, urban landscapes and cold, abstract settings that defy the radiant heat of Eros.

These "politically incorrect" comics emerged in the late 30s and were wildly popular through the 1950s. Hundreds of titles circulated underground during this time. The authors were largely anonymous, utilizing nick names instead. To this day no one knows who really authored or published these works, but the term "Tijuana Bible" surfaced as it was recognized that many of them were printed in the town of it's name sake. The majority of these "Bibles" were simply eight pages long and tackled subjects from anal sex to bestiality. They were also well known for satirizing public figures, including Gary Cooper and Hitler. "32 Pagers" are even more rare to find today and are basically a more short story version of the original "8 Pagers."

Many of these images were produced underground through home photo development. The photos were then sold to be cut and pasted onto playing cards or transferred onto slides and used as "smokers" for bachelor parties. Usually the participants in the photos were just regular folks playing in the comfort of their own homes.
