Hopes were high once more in Alabama as the sex toy store, Love Stuff, waited patiently for the verdict to come down in their favor this time. 

But, alas, Alabamians are not considered fit to buy sex toys according the Alabama Supreme court.  In fact it is considered against Alabamite adults can drink, drive (not in that order), fight for their country, buy a gun, but not buy little toys that bring health and pleasure.

The reason given to uphold the out-dated law? 

It is based on the "obscene device" law of 1998.  Associate Justice Michael F. Bolin wrote in the majority opinion, "Public morality can still serve as a legitimate rational basis for regulating commercial activity, which is not a private activity."

Love Stuff has no plans to close at this time.
